Yesterday (27/3/12) I went and got my second set of samples.
Point A's water was pretty similar in condition to the first time, a bit of sea weed, no pollution, but the only real difference was that it was low tide.
Point A's soil was a lot different to what condition it was before. The soil was very clay like, thick, compared to last time when it was not clay like at all and it was very easy to dig up.
Point B's water was similar to last time very sea weedy, although this time there seemed to be a little bit more sea weed but there was a big difference. POLLUTION- there was pollution all along the shore line (rubbish, wrappers, string, and even a back piece of a bikini top that was very eroded).
Point B's Soil had basically no difference at all.
WHY WAS IT DIFFERENT AND IT'S EFFECT ON RESULTS
Point A's soil- IM guessing dure to the rain and then activity on it straight after, which can effect the results majorly.
Point B's water- Pollution has obviously came through recently which also means that the water could have been polluted aswell, I guess I will just have to way until I do my testing.

After taking my first of two samples there are factors that I have to take into consideration.
Firstly it had been raining for a couple of days prior to me taking the samples.
Secondly at point A in the park the soil was very hard, harder then normal. Point B's soil wasn't as hard but still harder then normal.
Thirdly at Point B in the ocean there was a lot of sea weed present in the water and on the shore line, although point A had a bit swell but no where as much as point B.
In my next time when sampling hopefully the conditions will be different so that we could compare, so I will purposely try and sample on a day when those conditions are different from the first time.
